 About Elana

Elana is an experienced educator and classically trained chef who has combined her passion for teaching with her love of feeding people delicious food. After completing her teaching tour at Teach for America in Harlem, NYC and earning her masters degree in education, she headed over to Paris to explore the world of culinary delights. On the way she earned a chef's degree from Le Cordon Bleu, Paris and developed her philosophy that cooking and eating are the best ways to bring people together.

She has explored the most exotic food establishments in Paris, cooked for the Australian Ambassador to Paris at a major wine and food event, and returned home ready to share her experience and knowledge. Elana is a natural cook and believes food should be easy to make, delicious to eat and best enjoyed when shared. It leads to good conversation, learning, and bonding, and makes great memories.
